1) What do your prices include?
All items include a presentation gift box (unless otherwise indicated), and all prices include normal shipping within the UK. Prices are quoted in British pounds sterling and include V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) at 17.5%. For orders placed from outside the European Union that are also for delivery outside the European Union, V.A.T. is deducted (note - this includes the Channel Islands and Canary Islands which are listed as separate countries). The ex V.A.T. price is also indicated for each item. Please see further information below for shipping costs outide the UK. Back to top
2) How do I know I'm getting the best possible price from JewelleryNow?
We strive to source from our suppliers the best quality jewellery at the best value available. Because we have lower overheads being an Internet based company, we can offer our product at highly competitive prices - and don't forget we even pay the cost of postage if you're in the UK. Back to top
3) Can you supply your chains in different lengths?
Many chains or pendants can be obtained in different lengths and may be obtained by special order, although we cannot guarantee availablity. Please email us with any specific requests at info@jewellerynow.co.uk Back to top
4) I don't understand some of the expressions you use in your descriptions
We've tried to keep jargon to a minimum in our details but inevitably some has managed to creep in. We have compiled a glossary of jewellery terms and expressions used on the site, plus a few more general jewellery terms, which you can see by clicking here. Back to top
5) How do I know my ring size?
The best way frankly is to go to a bricks and mortar jewellers and ask them to measure your finger with a special gauge. However as this is rather inconvenient, we offer two ways of measuring your ring size on the site, one requiring an existing ring that fits, and information on international ring size comparisons. Click here to go to the ring size page.
You can also obtain a free plastic ring gauge from us on request by sending an email to info@jewellerynow.co.uk Back to top

1) Can I order by phone/fax?
We regret that we are currently unable to take express orders by telephone, but if you wish to order or have any queries, please call 08700 466420 and leave a message, we will call you back as soon as possible and within 1 business day. Back to top
2) Which Credit Cards do you accept?
Mastercard, VISA and American Express. We can also accept Maestro, Visa Delta, Solo and Electron debit cards. Your card statement will show the payment as going to JewelleryNow Limited, and payment will be taken in pounds sterling, so if you normally pay in a different currency, your credit card company will convert the amount to your currency automatically, although they may charge a small commission for doing this. Contact the card issuer for further information. Back to top
3) How secure will my credit card information be when ordering online?
Very. When you come to the payment screen which asks you to enter your card details, you will be linked directly by secure server to Protx, our payment service provider - they actually process your card on our behalf using SSL technology, which utilises high level encryption and is thus extremely secure. You will notice, depending on which browser you are using, that the key or padlock symbols appear along the bottom of the screen, and that the web address on the card details page starts 'https', the additional 's' denoting a secure link is in place.
Protx is widely accredited within the banking community as a reputable and trustworthy organisation, and handles millions of online card transactions each year. JewelleryNow does not see your card number at all. Back to top
4) What payment methods are there apart from credit/debit cards?
You can also pay online by PayPal or Nochex (each link opens a new window - if you use pop-up blocker software, you may need to hold down the CTRL key as you click). You can select these methods at the Checkout page when placing your order.
Alternatively, we can accept payment from UK customers by sterling cheque, postal order or bank transfer (BACS). Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to JewelleryNow Limited and sent to JNL, PO box 238, Radlett, WD7 0AU with a note giving your order details including name, address and telephone no. in case of queries. Your jewellery will be dispatched once the funds have cleared, so this will mean a delay of up to a week if paying this way.
We can also accept international bank transfers in sterling for non-UK based customers. For more details of how to do this, or for UK BACS transfers, please email or call for further details. Back to top
5) I want to order from outside the UK, but you don't list my country. What do I do?
Broadly speaking, for credit card payment we can only accept orders from, or ship to, Western Europe, North America or Australasia (the full list of countries appears at the Checkout page). We can accept VERIFIED PayPal account payments or bank transfer payments from other countries, but you will need to email or call us to place your order. Under no circumstances do we ship to Nigeria or Indonesia. Back to top
6) Help - I placed my order but I'm not sure if it went through OK, how can I check?
Having submitted your card details, and if your payment is accepted, you should go through to a payment confirmation page quoting an order reference number. If your payment is refused by your card company, you will get a message stating this. If your screen just freezes (for more than 2 minutes), or your computer crashes, check your email. You should receive a confirmation email from Protx that your order has been processed, the amount paid and giving you a reference number. If you have this, then we have definitely received your order. If after a few minutes you haven't received this email, chances are we haven't. If this is the case, you can call us during office hours on 08700 466 420, or email us at info@JewelleryNow.co.uk.
Alternatively, feel free to place your order again and drop us a quick email saying what happened and quoting your name and address and we will refund any duplicate transactions straight away. Back to top

1) When will I receive my order?
If your jewellery is in stock, we normally despatch within two working days, and very often the following working day. If we are unable to despatch your order within two working days, we will email or telephone you to inform you of the situation. Delivery times within the UK are normally 1 - 2 days (i.e. 2 - 4 days from placing your order), 3 - 5 working days to Europe, 5 - 10 working days elsewhere, but see next answer also. We will email a despatch confirmation receipt to you on the day of despatch. Back to top
2) How do you ship my jewellery to me?
We use Royal Mail to deliver our jewellery, using First Class post, Recorded post or Special Delivery as appropriate. First Class and Recorded posts do NOT carry guaranteed delivery times so delays beyond the quoted number of delivery days above may occur. For international deliveries we use Royal Mail International services, and again no guarantee of delivery times are given. Back to top
3) Can my order be sent to another address, as a gift for example?
Yes, you can enter a different delivery name and address such as a place of work, or somebody else at another address. Please note however we do reserve the right to decline to ship your order to a different address, or at all, if we believe there is a risk of fraud. This may particularly occur for higher value orders or for non UK addresses. Workplace addresses are usually fine. We will contact you if there is a problem.
If you are sending a gift directly to the recipient, we do include a delivery note giving details of the order and who placed it, but no price information is included on this or anywhere else in the parcel (except for customs declarations on parcels sent outside Europe). Back to top
4) How will my jewellery be packed? Do you offer gift wrapping?
All our jewellery comes either in its usual branded packaging, or in one of our own presentation gift boxes, usually inside a plain outer protective envelope, or occasionally a plain protective card box. Regrettably we are unable to offer additional gift wrapping Back to top
5) How much is your postage and packing?
Within the UK or BFPO - nothing! Outside the UK but within the European Union, £4.00, or £6.00 if anywhere else in the world Back to top
6) I am ordering from overseas, what about customs and tax etc?
Within the European Union there should be no extra duty or tax payable. Deliveries outside the European Union may incur a small customs duty which will be charged by your postal delivery service. We have no control over this and cannot refund or re-imburse any such payment, but do bear in mind that you have not paid any UK tax (called Value Added Tax, or V.A.T.), so you're still getting a good deal! Back to top
7) Do you offer express delivery?
We regret that currently we are unable to offer an express delivery service - however if your order is in stock (which for non rings is over 95% of the time) it will be despatched within 2 business days, usually the next business day, anyway.

1) What if I don't like my jewellery when it arrives?
You can send it back! We offer a 30 day no quibble guarantee, click here for full details on returning items. Back to top
2) The ring I ordered is the wrong size. Can I exchange it?
Of course - however please don't bother sending the box back, it just increases the postage charges. Ideally, leave the ring in its mini-grip bag and just securely wrap it in bubble-wrap or tissue paper. Please include your delivery note with your new requirements written on the reverse. Click here for full details on returning items. Back to top
3) Do you have a privacy policy?
Yes, click here for full details. Back to top
4) Does JewelleryNow have a showroom where I can see your jewellery?
JewelleryNow is an Internet based company and does not have a showroom or retail premises as such. Our address in Borehamwood is an office address only and no jewellery is kept here. For security reasons, we do not disclose our warehouse address. Therefore we regret that we cannot accommodate personal visits from customers. Back to top
5) Do you have a (printed) catalogue you could send me?
We regret that we do not print catalogues, mainly because of cost, but also because our stock is continuously changing and once printed they would be almost immediately out of date! Some of our suppliers do print catalogues for which there may be a small charge - for example we can supply a John Rocha Jewellery catalogue on receipt of a SAE (stamped self-addressed envelope). Send to: JNL, PO box 238, Radlett, WD7 0AU. Hot Diamonds do not produce a customer catalogue at this time. Back to top
6) I like your photos, can I use them to sell my jewellery on eBay (or for any other purpose)?
Sorry, but no you can't. The majority of the photographs on JewelleryNow are our own and we therefore own the copyright on them, the odd few that are not ours are used with the copyright holder's permission and we have no authority to allow their copying or reproduction elsewhere. Therefore using any images on this site without our express permission would be a breach of copyright and illegal. That means that you would be breaking the law! Should you wish to use any images for a non-commercial purpose (a college project for example), we would normally allow this, but you MUST contact us first for permission. Likewise, if you wished to sell a second-hand item of jewellery originally purchased from JewelleryNow, again we would normally grant premission upon request. We would not normally sanction the use of our images for any other commercial purpose without payment. We routinely monitor eBay and other auction sites for illegal use of our images, and when discovered are always reported. In our experience eBay and other sites have no hesitation in immediately terminating any auctions using our images without permission, and the seller may also be subsequently blacklisted. Back to top
7) You haven't got my question on your list...
OK, sorry about that, but you can email it to us at info@jewellerynow.co.uk and we will endeavour to answer your question within 48 hours, and often we can answer it the same day! Or you can call us on 08700 466 420 and one of our operators can either help you or arrange for someone to call you back with an answer. Back to top
